Your Instructor - Sarah Crosbie DVSA ADI
I am a fully qualified, DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and have been teaching for over 20 years. I achieved the top 'A Grade' at my most recent standards check. I have signed up to the Driving Standards Agency voluntary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme and the Code of Practice (CoP) and am a member of the ADI Joint National Council. I am also regularly DBS checked. Based in Newport Pagnell I have an extensive knowledge of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. The local test centre is Bletchley and I am very familiar with the routes used.
My aim is to make my pupils feel relaxed and confident so that they can learn the necessary skills to drive on our increasingly busy roads in as few lessons as possible. I am calm, patient, analytical and intuitive, qualities I believe are essential in getting the best performance from my pupils - a sense of humour helps too!

The Car
The instruction car (not pictured) is a Citroen C3. It is fitted with dual controls, is air conditioned and had many safety features such as ABS, airbags and electronic brake distribution. It's also very easy to drive and I have nothing but positive feedback from my pupils.
Your Lessons
Lessons are on a one to one basis and you can be picked up and dropped off anywhere in the local area. Lessons can be 1 hour, 1½ hour or 2 hour sessions. In Milton Keynes the local test centre is in Bletchley and it may take 15-20 mins each way from some areas which would only leave 20 minutes 'town' driving in a one hour lesson so a longer session is preferable.
Lessons will follow the DVSA recommended syllabus but will be tailored to the individual. I will assess your ability and give you honest feedback on your progress. You will be encouraged to ask questions and use the many resources available to assist your learning experience. I firmly believe, as with any practical skill, practice is essential to develop co-ordination and confidence. Therefore, I will try to minimise time spent at the side of the road talking about how to do it when we could be just doing it! My aim is for you to become a safe, knowledgeable, conscious and responsible driver.
